“Safegate had applied many management software solutions, but none of them were effective, including software that is heavily promoted in Vietnam today. Their software does not have a business philosophy, and they do not truly manage a business effectively with that software while still providing solutions to businesses. With only a few lines from him, Simplamo understood that he and Safegate had gone through a long journey filled with hope. It was a journey of trial and error, with many disappointments. 1. Safegate – A journey of trial and error and the first touchpoint with Simplamo
Smart Cyber Security Joint Stock Company – Smart Cyber Security (Safegate) is a cybersecurity startup built on a solid foundation, with founders who are experienced experts in information security, Cloud, Big Data, IoT, and AI.

Safegate is a pioneering business in cybersecurity digital transformation, with a young, energetic, and ambitious team. Challenges and difficulties are unavoidable for any business. For Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh – Chairman of Safegate, the biggest challenge he faced lay in the process of GOAL EXECUTION:
- Business planning was spontaneous, without a clear basis for staying aligned with the actual situation of the business.
- There was no effective method for following execution; plans could even be forgotten after only one week.
- After the annual business plan was built, there were no people and no method to track and control it, making the annual plan difficult to complete.
- Roles and responsibilities in execution were not clearly defined; everyone worked separately and no one stood up to take responsibility.

As someone who understands technology, Mr. Tuan Anh and his team spent a great deal of time researching and using many different goal management software solutions, including well-known software such as Base, but none delivered real effectiveness. Until he happened to learn about Simplamo, he decided to implement the software after only two weeks of meetings.

2. Simplamo – A business philosophy that breaks through barriers to goal execution
On February 22, 2023, under the guidance of Simplamo expert Nguyen Thi Nghia, the kick-off session for implementing Simplamo at Safegate took place in a lively atmosphere. The team debated together and recognized many issues within the organization.
- Accountability chart: clarifying structure, increasing proactivity and responsibility
Overlapping roles and difficulties in coordinating work were the first issues the Safegate team needed to change before moving on to 2023 business goals. Simplamo experts brought Safegate back to the most fundamental elements of a business: to create the right structure, the company needs to rely on the customer journey from arrival to departure through three basic functions: Sales & Marketing / Operations / Finance & HR.
Once the structure was agreed upon, the team discussed and identified the five most important roles for each position. Through debate came understanding. By looking back and clarifying every position on a single plane, the Safegate team realized many things they had missed during the previous period.

After the first implementation session, the Safegate team was very impressed with Simplamo’s simple philosophy, supporting tools, and regular meeting method. They believed that what Simplamo brought would help Safegate build, track, and execute goals successfully.
